I feel that with this series, I’m ending the use of ink and graphite in this particular combination—at least working on this (small) scale. It has come to be far too demanding for my aging eyes and hands. I do not yet know what I will do in the future, artistically, to explore and give some evidence of the true nature of the human presence in the unfathomable stream of life.

It is evident to me, and I hope to many others, that our species is on an ever-accelerating path of cultural and psychological fragmentation that we must abandon because it is dysfunctional and ultimately suicidal. To stop participating in the general, chronic rejection of our common source in life implies setting aside all the forms of tribal and psychological alienation from which we each derive a false sense of separate existence. I trust that I will somehow continue to generate images and texts pointing in this essential direction.
Siento que con esta serie, estoy terminando el uso de tinta y grafito en esta combinación particular, al menos trabajando en esta (pequeña) escala que ha llegado a ser demasiado exigente para mis ojos y mis manos.
